The Chancellor’s Committee coordinates planning for the programs of the Senate and its key committees.
It advises the Senate on the appointment, remuneration, performance and renewal or termination of the Vice-Chancellor, considers recommendations from the Vice-Chancellor on the appointment, performance, and remuneration of Senior Executive staff and advises on remuneration and performance issues generally.
The Chancellor’s Committee advises on co-options, appointments and the assignment of Senate members on Senate Standing Committees.
It is responsible for the induction and ongoing professional development program for Senate members and provides advice to the Vice-Chancellor on any items not covered by other Standing Committee constitutions, subject to report subsequently to the Senate.
